John A. Vuono is the Senior Member of the firm. He was born in Monongahela, Pennysylvania on May 23, 1931. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1956. Mr. Vuono attended the University of Notre Dame where he obtained his undergraduate degree (A.B.) in 1954 and his law degree (J.D.) in 1955. He obtained his Masters in Law (L.L.M.) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1956, specializing in corporate law and business acquisitions. Mr. Vuono is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. He is a member of the Corporation, Commercial and Banking sections of the all three bar associations, as well as a member of the Solo and Small Firm section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Senior Lawyers Division and Antitrust sections of the American Bar Association. Mr. Vuono is a former National President of the Transportation Lawyers Association and is a member of its Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Association of Transportation Practitioners and T&TA of Pittsburgh, Inc. Mr. Vuono's practice focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions, Business and Corporate Law, Administrative and Transportation Law. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the 3rd and 6th Circuits and the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and all intermediate Pennsylvania courts.
