Ryan A. Schrage

Junior Associate

Ryan joined the Firm as a Junior Associate in October 2025 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During his time in law school, Ryan focused his studies on taxation and estate planning. He received recognition for his excellence in both areas of study, winning the Pittsburgh Tax Club Memorial Prize and the David R. Bookstaver Award for outstanding performances in the areas of federal taxation and estate planning, respectively. He was named Executive Editor of the Pittsburgh Tax Review, where he oversaw the publishing of the Journal’s 22nd volume. He also served as a Certified Legal Intern in Pitt’s Low-Income Tax Clinic. There, he assisted low-income clients through a myriad of tax problems both in front of the United States Tax Court and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He now practices primarily as a transactional attorney, focused on estate, trust, and tax planning, as well as corporate business transactions.
